Digging the hole for the flag pole base.


This past Saturday was a busy one at our house. A month or two after Conan's birth, we had a welcome party for him, with many members of my office and the mayor in attendance. Conan was given some presents, however one gift was postponed until this spring. The mayor, along with the director of education of my school board presented us with some wonderful carp streamers (which are hung yearly at this time of year for boys in the family) and a flag pole to display them. The work began at 1:00pm, and the party and presentation started at 3:00. Here are a few pictures to show how the work was completed.
